I love Mhairi Black such a clever and articulate young woman. Scotland is very lucky to have her.I so hope she stays in politics I know she doesn’t want to stay but we so need her.

Such a humble, intelligent and aspiring young politician. She is a good voice for ordinary people and so in touch with the real world and the social and political issues which concern every day people. Emma is a charming, lovely and skilled interviewer and respectful of others.

Andrew Pollock An MP can still have huge local power and influence though, and she could be part of the movement for Scottish Independence which is would clearly give her a lot of power. Regardless, I think she's a legend.

@@alexanderkennedy3307 It's not about what words you use, or how you structure them, it's about what you stand for, and the passion behind the words. Rees-Mogg can sound like a poet when he speaks, but does that ultimately mean he's a better politician than Mhairi Black? You can't judge it off that alone. If you think all politicians should sound exactly the same, use the same words, speak absolute perfect English (especially when referring to someone who likely speaks Scots in their day to day life, not RP English) then that is undoubtedly classist. I don't judge English people for having posh accents, so you shouldn't judge Scottish people (or anyone else) for having a regional dialect, and not absolutely perfect grammar. There's more pressing issues than a slight error in someone's wording, especially if they are still able to get the point across.

On one hand I just love Mhairi Black as an MP, but on the other hand I despair that she seems to be viewed as the exception or inspiration in so many people's eyes!! Why should we not expect the same level of decency, honestly and normality from other MPs? No offence to Mhairi but I suspect it is more about others being so comparatively bad rather than Mhairi being so good (as I'm sure she'd attest to)!!!
