lol yes I am still alive Juliya. Thank you for your concern. It means a lot :). You are awesome :). I for one do not believe that my religion has anything to do with vaginismus. Certain cultural practices within any community, whether it's Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Christian, often prevents people from asking these difficult questions about their body. It has nothing to do with religion. It has nothing to do with Islam :). My relationship with my religion and faith is what ultimately brought me to the Women's Therapy Center. I won't sit here and explain how that can be or even rationalize it for you because that's my personal business. But please don't hate on any religion and stereotype it, just the way I will never hate on you for thinking religion is primitive :). Be well and have a happy new year!

Tasniya Sultana I'm so proud of how open you are, congrats and i agree with you about vaginismus having nothing to do with your faith or culture for those who commented about that. I love your testimony. I was cured by a specialist in physical therapist only working with perineal/pelvic/vaginal issues. She's worked all over the USA and Canada and oversea and moving in London in a few months. I still see her for chronic pelvic pain but the vaginismus is totally cured ( it needed 4 weeks of seeing her 3 times week) and I went through the dilatator and every steps.

Over 3years of marriage now but we he not consummated.Only starting on dilators now. Pls don't wait as Long as me. I'm still trying. I still have hope. N faith in God that this is a test from Him and we will get thru it inshaAllah

sis we know its painful situation ihave being through this for 10 months but then iam out of this problem....i would advise you to use lubricants and have positive attitude ...and most important tolerate with that pain of defloration

Ashwak Hassan I agree with you. Her comment was ignorant of the condition. I'm Christian but got into my faith late in life and got vaginismus when I was a teen. For me it was Incest that caused it, not faith or anything else. Please open your heart and mind to women's issues without bias, I'm sure this would help you.
