I'm no Captain Marvel fan, and I certainly agree Wonder Woman could beat Carol but against another Captain Marvel she wouldn't stand a chance, but not in a complete stomp. That different Captain Marvel is Monica Rambeau AKA Spectrum. Monica can keep up with Diana in speed as she too can travel and fly at the speed of light like the DC woman. She has her awareness which is her senses basically enhanced. Wondie won't be able to speedblitz Spectrum as the Marvel hero can react at the the speed of light. Ms Rambeau could blast Spiderman away ( while she was surprised) before he can react, stated to be able to " make a fool out of quicksilver", done exactly that, is faster than him, circled orbit in under 2 seconds, could react to and tag a speedster so fast he can time travel etc. Monica has trained with Captain America in combat, being able to keep up with him. Steve has shown to be able to fight equally with Shang Chi who is marvels #1 best fighter. Add to the fact she's stated to be a " Master Tactition". While Diana might be able to block Spectrums energy blasts she won't be able to do it for long. When Rambeau gets a few hits in they will hurt the Amazon warrior. Monica's blasts have shown to be able to hurt Hercules and Namor, stagger Galactus and even hurt Zues. If Wonder Woman captures Spectrum in her lasso ( which I doubt would happen) that still won't give Diana the win. She can turn intangible and resume the fight with Wondie. The DC heroes sword won't do much to Monica, because of reasons I've already stated. Intangibility, size alteration, shape shifting, invisibility, energy blasts, light speed travel etc. Another way for Spectrum to defeat Diana is creating holograms fooling Wonder Woman, taking her down when she's distracted. Don't get me wrong, at first when I saw monica I thought wonder woman could easily beat her but after viewing her abilities and feats she can 100% give Diana a run for her money.

I think you're giving Danvers way more credit than she's due. Danvers strength advantage exists but you overestimate it. Her durability advantage is a dubious one since she has to be fully powered up to be that durable. Her flight speed is an advantage, but Wonder Woman's reaction speed is off-the-charts higher. Danvers was only able to pull Fury out of the way because she spotted the sniper, compared to WW's numerous bullet-dodging/deflecting feats. As for skill in combat, Danvers' skill level is reasonable but nothing special. She's probably the equivalent of a mediocre MMA fighter, compared to WW, who trained in combat of all sorts for thousands of years. Danvers waded through a comparatively weak version of Skrulls because she was way stronger than them. They knew she was going to be way stronger than them, so they locked her up and she couldn't break free on strength alone. Granted that Danvers is way stronger if fully powered up, but WW contended with the strength of Doomsday and wasn't just blown out of the water. WW knew she couldn't win a fight with DD using just strength, but skill and durability would have made for a reasonably fair fight but for DD's healing ability. The same thing would not be true of Danvers against WW. WW has way more skill and enough strength, speed and durability to win 4 out of 5 fights with Danvers.

If I remember right Doomsday was throwing Wonder Women all over the place. It was just a question of time when Doomsday got a hit on her and no more Wonder Woman but Superman saved the little lady and the day. Their was nothing fair about that fight. She showed she had no more chance than Batman and was way over her head. Wonder Woman doges bullets but Doomsday can take a nuke.

Should’ve waited until after seeing WW 1984 in a few weeks. That film should would give us more feats to compare them as Captain Marvel has been in two full length films whereas WW had one movie of her own and essentially cameos in two other films. I agree the it would be a hard match, but I also agree that Captain Marvel would be a bit too powerful for Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman’s skill, combat speed and weaponry would be hard to get over, but Captain Marvels, immense power level alone would pose a problem. Ww was almost at par with sups during the battle with doomsday, and her fighting abilities made it so that she was dooing even better than sups... So probably the film writers were aware that she's got the bracelet blocking her god-abilities so they probably wanted superman to get more powerful before we see her using that power, so we will probably see her in action on the superman power-level but not soon
