So happy I found your channel and saw that you have a crochet for beginners class. I was kinda taught to crochet when I was younger, but never really taught to read patterns. Mostly just did scarves and blankets. Somehow found and watched amigurumi videos and really wanted to get to crochet again. Bought some hooks, yarn and your class and I couldn’t be more excited!

Ok thank you for talking about patterns translating well when using a different yarn weight. I have been DYING to get the crochet cafe book but I don’t like working with acrylic worsted (and neither does my hands) so now that I know I have that creative license, I shall get the book!

I'm so glad you had that section on the yarns. I'm definitely gonna try out the Honey Bunny yarn... finding chunky yarns in the right color has been such a struggle for me lately, but at least I don't mind funky colored animals with the variegated colors that I have.

Did I see a panda crochet hook topper in your hook mug? I’ve been wondering if they’re necessary, or where to get one. Most of the toppers I’ve seen are for knitting needles, so too small for a crochet hook.
