WONDERFUL BOXING FIGHT!! JOE JOYCE vs ZHANG ZHILEI FULL FIGHT (15.04.2023)

Chinese heavyweight Zhang Zhilei gave the British public a nasty surprise by inflicting the first loss of his career on now former WBO interim champion Joe Joyce, 37.
In the 2nd round, Zhang managed to shock the opponent, but did not take risks. Already in the 3rd round, a hematoma began to swell around Joyce's right eye.
In the 6th round, after a series of attacks by Zhang, the referee twice called the doctor into the ring to examine Joyce. After the second examination, it was decided to remove the Briton from the fight.
At the time of the stoppage, Zhang (48-47) was in the lead on two cards, Joyce was in the lead on the third card with the same score.
Zhang Zhilei, who turns 40 on May 2, has won the interim WBO heavyweight title. He is the first boxer from China to win the heavyweight title.

Китайский супертяжеловес Чжан Чжилей преподнес британской публике неприятный сюрприз, нанеся первое поражение в карьере теперь уже бывшему временному чемпиону WBO 37-летнему Джо Джойсу.

Китаец после второго раунда ,просто перестал боксировать, начал опускать руки ,уклонятся от ударов, перчатками ловить удары, ловить на плече, почувствовал что угрозы нет, и продлил бой насколько мог, не хотел разочаровать публику, и с улыбкой после каждого раунда просто демонстрировал свое тотальное превосходство, да и скорость старичка оказалась на другом уровне

Both are good fighters, Joyce looks more logical shape of boxer but for some reason he lacks of some technical skill. If Zhang by chance will fight Tyson Fury I think there is no match, sorry to say that. When it comes to Tyson Fury fight we knew that he been knocked down so many times by Wilder but remember that Tyson Fury been knocked down a few times but he never been out that how tough he is. Even though Zhang looks good that’s easy against a none moving plodder like Joyce, if Joyce had started at a faster pace Zhang was tiring when it finished. I hope AJ fights Zhang apart from the first couple of rounds he is no danger as he gases very quickly. AJ in round 6-8 stoppage he is much to fast and athletic for him
