Watching the play that Komugi and Yuki have performed make me wonder if there the connection from Gaou's🐺 past especially the dairy that Karasuma gave to Satoru as it was written by Subaru the first human being to befriended a wolf could be a clue .

I don’t know why but I really enjoyed this episode, I think it was the fight and the actual play, like I would actually watch this if it was a play Off topic but when they were showing the play, I really thought the wolf was satoru 😭😭 like I was shocked when the mask came off and I was expecting another zakuro (I think that’s her name), satoru, iroha drama cause I really thought that was satoru 😭

omg thank goddess no new romance drama! I also really liked both the fight and play, both seemed really solid.

They're writing an original story for their musical, based on a Japanese story but localize it to a European style... what it really reminds me of is "The Anthem of the Heart", an anime film by the same team who created "Anohana" (which you've said you knew). I recommend that movie too, it's really touching, and Cure Parfait plays the main protagonist😂. "Subaru" is the Japanese name of the Pleiades (Messier 45) and the kanji is indeed the combination of "Sun" and the old version of "rabbit"(nowadays it's only used for "rabbit's year", which was last year, by the way).

To be honest I'm kind of disappointed in the lack of daifuku that there is in this episode. I've been considering buying the daifuku plushie that recently came out but what's making me hesitate is the lack of him in the show 😢

6:12 It's just her version of the tale, not the tale we are learning. We are going to get the reveal of the full tale. It's not the play version we see here, just an adaptation of an original story. please don't take the play version seriously, it's written by a very passionate theatre kid.

3:46-probably nothing deep. Just what day Subaru met the wolf, befriended it, and took him to its pack. It gave him its name; likely, the last entry was before he died, and his journal was left behind. He likely died trying to protect the wolves from being hunted by greedy humans.
