Very good Greg, one question: I have a Scarlet Solo that I use to connect my bass guitar to my Apple Mac running garageband. Though the tone from my Epiphone bass is very good, when I record my bass along with mp3 of the song, the tone is not good. I have selected "Modern Stack" bass amplifier. Is there something I should go to get the same bass tone on my recording in Garageband as I hear it on my bass speakers? Thanks for your reply in advance!

hmmm...try the "monitor" on/off switch. It'll be underneath where you choose your input device. I hope that helps...thanks!

Question from a beginner: does it make any different on which positions it is played? I mean for example E string 5th positon is the same as the loose G string.. is there a "rule" for it, or is it what is convenient to play? (i have rather small hands :) )
@BassCovers3 жыл бұрын
It kind of depends on the notes that come before and after. I try to keep things simple. The less moving you do, the less chance there is of making a mistake! I hope that helps...thanks!
@Thundercatsie3 жыл бұрын
@@BassCovers So it all comes down to convenience.. i have rather small fingers to make big leaps of postions, so i try the same notes on postions that are closer to eachother
@BassCovers3 жыл бұрын
@@Thundercatsie you got it ;) There will be times you may want to move through different positions, but that will be intuitive and not as common. Keep it simple and try to play "effortlessly". Good luck...have fun :)
