As a first-time gun buyer, the only benefit of waiting 250+ days for my Illinois FOID card was that it gave me plenty of time to watch gun reviews on You Tube. After watching way too many videos on 9 mm semi-autos, I stumbled upon Grand Power and your channel. Love the gun and really like your video style. Ordering the P1 Ultra this week and can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks for the great videos and keep up the good work!

Just purchased the P1 for $341.99 and an extra 15 round mag ($23.99) from Global Ordnance. Found a coupon for free shipping as well. Three of my handgun acquisitions were heavily influenced by you, Graham ( Girsan MC14G84, SAR P8S and the Grand Power P1. Compares very favorably with my PX4 Storm Compact carry. The P1's reset is definitely faster than the PX4 Compact carry. Both eat everything.

I've shot the K100 before. the safety is limp and wimpy......it doesn't click on and off with authority. it's easily wiped or brushed off therefore not good for a carry gun also having to decock the hammer manually by hand is less than ideal......making it a two handed affair when holstering the gun. a decocker version wasn't available at the time the firing pin is held in place with a roll pin which gets peened if dry fired. it's an easy fix but a bad design the mag release is also really wimpy feeling. the gun shoots great and super smooth but all the controls I don't like it never got off in Canada even though they tried several times. customer support and parts were non existent and magazines were not available anywhere many people bought them here and got so frustrated by the lack of parts and service that they gave up and sold them. I don't think Grand Power will ever get their act together. still a fun gun to shoot at the range if you don't mind all the quirks. smoothest trigger of any gun I ever shot stay away from the .22lr models. they don't work at all
