Indonesia Proclamation by first president Mr. Ir. Soekarno Finale "Bagimu Negri" National song of Indonesia Those are small part of Indonesian culture. Why is the creature in the final scene not "Garuda"? Why Dragon? The mythological creature in the last scene of "Wonderland Indonesia" is a manifestation of Antaboga (Ontobugo) and Garuda. In ancient Javanese wayang, Antaboga is the king of snakes who guards the bowels of the earth. Ruler of the "underworld". The figure of Antaboga or Naga is inherent in Javanese and Balinese culture. usually found in gamelan carvings, gates and gates as a symbol of "guardian". Physically Antaboga is more like a dragon, but we develop it by combining the gallant Garuda with its wings. As a symbol of the guardian of the world above and below. And on the forehead there is the symbol "Surya Majapahit" which means Dewata Nawa Sanga. Nine guardian gods in every corner of the wind. Why not Garuda with its Pancasila? Garuda Pancasila is a symbol of the state which is certainly sensitive if it is imagined anciently. Because the symbol of the country is protected by law. That's a bit of a fairy tale. Greetings #Wonderlandlndonesia | Cultured Freedom!

For your opinion in the end, I agree, i think Indonesia tourism need get more interest from foreigner, I think it's depend on what they want spend holiday in Indonesia, Indonesia have many diversity, maybe foreigner just know tourist place "Bali" and sometimes they don't know that Bali is one of island in Indonesia, but we have more than that, we have many temples and many cultural sites, we also have beauty nature like in Lombok, and the komodo island. We have the only one great ape in Asia orangutans, we have the modern urban city life in Jakarta. I hope after this pandemic the tourism can grow and support economy of Indonesia more than before.

Wow. So happy to see you reacting on this, Uncle Momo. Thank you so much. Very awesome reaction. Really enjoyed it. Sending you big hugs from the island of Lombok, in the eastern part of Indonesia. In case you'd like to understand what this video is about, here are some details. I maybe not be 100% correct about it, but it'll give you a much deeper understanding about the messages in the video MOST PEOPLE WERE ASKING: ARE THOSE FLOATING ISLANDS REALLY EXIST? Of course no. What this video trying to tell is that indonesia has plenty of unique historical sites spread over many different islands from west to the eastern part of the country. Of course they're not floating in real except the Pura Ulun Danu in Bali which situated on the lake. Those floating buildings are; Rumah Gadang (Sumatera), Rumah Tongkonan (Tana Toraja), Borobudur Buddhist temple (Magelang), and Pura Ulun Danu (Bali). The Goddess statues where the singer starts her singing is at Royal Pitamaha, Ubud, Bali. Again, All of the buildings and nature sceneries are real, but yes, CGI effects applied to make it looks more cinematic. WHAT ARE THOSE HEADPIECES SHE WORE? Those headpieces (crowns) she wore in general called TIARA for females or MAHKOTA for males. In the past you must wear those kind of headpieces to identify yourself as a royal family member. Both Tiara and Mahkota are normally made of gold or silver with diamond installed in the middle of it. Every diamond placed in a Tiara or Mahkota can't be just a diamond. It has to be one with magical power. Headpiece is one the most important outfits for almost every ethnic group in Indonesia, even more important than shirts. In my original tribe and many others, Males don't wear shirt. We only wear 3 pieces of sarong (a loose cloth) to cover our waist up to the knee (No shirts on) and of course a headpiece. Headpiece isn't just an accessory. It is actually more as a symbol that you appreciate your head as the most important part of your body and to prove that you are responsible to protect it even from the heat. Headpiece is the very first thing you wear when you're born. Your parent will have it made for you months before you even born. Nowadays, anyone can wear those kind of royal headpieces during their wedding ceremony and many other special occasions. Traditional costumes worn in the video: 1. From the ethnic group of Dayak in Kalimantan called Ta'a (for females) Sapei Sapaq (for males). Their headpieces are made of Hornbill feathers. This is just one of the many traditional costumes belong to the Dayak tribe. 2. I think is from the Kohongian tribe in Sulawesi Utara. 3. Based on the headpiece she wore, I think it is from the Asmat tribe called Sali made of bark and decorated with cassowary and bird of paradise feathers. 4. Kebaya Labuh from the province of Riau. 5. Limpapeh Rumah Nan Gadang from the province of West Sumatera. 6. Payas Agung, Bali. 7. Kebaya Brokat from West Java. 8. Bula Molik (Crescent) made of silver and Gold, NTT. WHAT ARE THEY SINGING? (Please refer to the traditional outfits as well because the songs and outfits represent the region where they originated) This video showcases 9 traditional folk songs from 9 out of 1430 tribes existed in Indonesia (BPS 2010). The main song is Bagimu Negeri - One of our national songs, not an anthem. NOTE: As an Indonesian, there is no way you not gonna cry when singing or listening to that song. It is our oaths to the mother land. Our promises to the nation. An answer to the prayers of our parent which Alffy described perfectly through that young mother singing lullaby to her newly born son. A lullaby can't only be just a nice song to bring you to sleep, it consists a prayer, wishes and hopes of our parent to see us grow as someone useful to the nation. Nothing can make them happier than that. By the way, here's the list of the folk songs featured: 1. Paris Barantai from Kalimantan Selatan 2. Si Patokaan from Sulawesi Utara 3. Sajojo from Papua 4. Soleram from Riau 5. Janger from Bali 6. Manuk Dadali from Jawa Barat 7. Anak Kambing Saya from Nusa Tenggara Timur 8. Kampuang Nan Jauh di Mato from Sumatera Barat 9. Tak Lelo Lelo Ledung from Jawa Tengah National song featured is Bagimu Negeri. WHAT IS THAT TRADITIONAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENT HE'S PLAYING? That musical instrument is a traditional Dayak instrument called Sape. You must check out UYAU MORI playing Sape SOLO which will bring you into the world of true relaxations. WHO DID THE SPEECH AND WHAT IS IT ABOUT? It was the original proclamation speech done by our first president Soekarno. WHAT IS THE SYMBOL THAT AWAKEN THE DRAGON? It is called Surya Majapahit or known as Dewata Nawa Sanga - The 9 Gods that protect the universe from 9 different dimension compass wise. WHAT ARE THOSE CREATURES? The creatures you see at the end of the video are GARUDA and a Dragon known as ANTABOGA from the mythology of the ancient Majapahit kingdom . Antaboga is believed to be the guardian of the underearth dimension. That's why you will find it featured in many of our traditional carvings, crafts, and even in our architectural designs. Meanwhile, Garuda is the main symbol of our country (You can't really showcase it for commercial purposes because It's protected by law). Garuda itself is a huge gigantic bird that can only be found in Indonesia. And is believed by the Hindu as the main vehicle of God Vishnu. WHERE THEY SHOT THE VIDEO? 1. GWK - Garuda Wishnu Kencana in Bali which known as one of the biggest statues in the world. 2. Royal Pita Maha, Ubud 3. Taman Nusa, Bali 4. Ubud Valley 5. Balerung, Ubud. NOTE: - There are thousands of 'mysteries' yet to be unfold in Indonesia (Nusantara). - Alffy Rev is a musical genius. A multi-instrumentalist. He's a producer, director, and an editor. Please check out his other songs; Mother Earth, Beautiful We Are and Beauty Of Bali. - Novia Bachmid is a finalist of Indonesian Idol 2020. Please check out her cover of Faozia's Mountain LIVE at the Room Mate Project. You'll love her. By the way, thank you for the awesome reaction. It means a lot for all of us in Indonesia.

This is an explanation from lombokfriendly Hi , thanks for doing this awesome reaction. Really enjoyed it. Sending you big hugs from Indonesia. Most people were asking: What are those headpieces she wore? Those headpieces (crowns) she wore called Tiara for females or Mahkota for males. In the past you must wear those kind of headpieces to identify yourself as a royal family member and normally made of gold and silver with diamond installed in the middle of it. Alffy Rev's music video represents the wealth of nature, ethnicity, customs and culture in Indonesia. Jellyfish and flying fish can be found in Indonesian waters and only as symbols. The opening dance is from the Dayak tribe, while the song is titled "Paris barantai" by the artist of the Banjar tribe, Anang Ardiansyah. Both tribes are on the Kalimantan island. The dance is a kind of welcome dance with full of joy. While some of the folk songs performed by Novia Bachmid and the traditional outfits she wears come from ethnic groups in Indonesia, namely the song "Sipatoka'an" from North Sulawesi, the song "Sajojo" from Papua, the song "Soleram" from Riau, central Sumatra. , the song "Kampuang nan jauh di mato" from West Sumatra, the song "Manuk Dadali' from West Java and the song "Anak kambing saya" from East Nusa Tenggara. The name of the traditional stringed instrument used by Alffy in the song "Kampuang Nan Jauh di Mato" is "Sape" from the Dayak tribe, Kalimantan which means "picking with fingers". While a mother who is lulling her baby, comes from the Javanese tribe. The song contains the hope that her baby will become a noble, dignified and make proud for the parents. The beautiful house as a backdrop is an authentic traditional Javanese house made of carved teak wood. One of the cities in Central Java, namely "Jepara", is famous for carving crafts. Finally, the Dragon figure that appears (we call it Naga in Indonesian) is a depiction of the Javanese Dragon, a Javanese mythological creature that has been designed since at least the time of the Majapahit kingdom, East Java. It is said that the Javanese Naga or Anantaboga as the guardian deity in the bowels of the earth. It is not surprising that Alffy Rev always brings up Dragons from Javanese mythology, especially during the Majapahit era because Alffy Rev comes from Mojokerto, a city in East Java where the Majapahit kingdom is located. The recording of the declaration of independence read by our first President, Soekarno, was taken from the national archives. The last song is actually a national song, not made up at all as we all learn of this song at school ~ and is still sung until today
