Damn, I think hit I made it 30 with my buddy who got me into Borderlands seriously. Who asked shit below :p I played BL2 middle school/high school cause I remembered my friends saying bl1 was THE GAME when we were a bit younger, but I was a poor midwest kid who's parents thought vidya games were evil in general lmao. In college the aforemention buddy came over to my apt. (lived the next street over) and we did a playthrough of bl2 first, and I was hooked, but didn't understand any mechanics, things like dedicated farms etc. Then we did a normal mode run of presequel, which was super fun considering I had little to know idea of the end game/legendary issues etc. Then bl3 happened, and I got so addicted right before the pandemic, and we couch co op the shit out of it (had to move to seperate consoles to have a chance with chain zane+ fl4k who both had the recursion before the projectile nerf . I'd then go on to run bl3 chasing god roll fl4k items and running the m11 hard content for nearly 70 days in game. Wonderlands came out, co oped with the same buddy and the campaign was fun, (tho I prefer real guns to the fantasy ones a bit if I'm honest.) and we did the initial chaos chambers/ all raid bosses.maker etc. PLus unfortunately were excited for the "dlcs" and goddamn, wonderlands should've been a wayy fucking better game than it was for borderlands fans specifically. 1 playthrough, introducing a friend to the franchise? Great entry for that. For anyone who liked dragonkeep, bl2/3, or how BL worked mechanically with loot/end game? jesus did they miss the mark with a so close to good concept. Literally 10-25 ish levels of chaos chambers+ takedown esq encounters+ class item specific rng+ lower reroll costs would've made this a banger.

I really wanted to love wonderlands, but even modded, other than Chaos chambers, or the chaos chambers in disguise from the mirrors, there really isn't any endgame content, and once you get to chaos 50-100 and have a build based on primordial/ascended gear, that's it, the game's done. It really sucks that you have to grind just to reach the top tier of difficulty in wonderlands, where in BL3 reaching max level mayhem 10/11 was the starting point of the grind, instead of the endpoint.

They had such easy opportunities for DLC too. Like DnD books get released all the time, so they easily could have had Tina (like in game) get an expansion that had more stuff and invite you back to go on another adventure. I liked the idea of everything they had but didn’t feel like playing the game with another character was gonna be all that different so I never did.

I always have a guilty pleasure of playing games that people say are bad but it’s good. Right now it’s Dragon Age Veilguard and going back to Wonderlands once in a while despite having all the achievements. Wish the DLCs were better but oh well, see the game more so a spin off rather than a main stay of the series

The rifle Zane play through is fun. Ofcourse the soulrenderer was stupid OP but something about the torgue weapons was amusingly fun lol I also just finished a Maliwan Zane and it was kinda boring because it’s so easy. If you ever do a torgue Zane, the spade is imo kinda hilarious with clone

Honestly I think Chaos 50 should be as far as they should've took it I mean chaos 100 is cool but way too grindy they should've at least kept it going up by 5 levels each time you completed a run (and obviously fix dedicated drops)

That's why I was always jumping 5 chaos levels at a time. Still it gets boring at some point... Never went beyond chaos 50...

thanks for the help dude. Yeah, this game just needed to follow BL3's farming and add Loot Luck as a way to limit OR increase world drops so people could have it their way and we would have been fine. Attaching Loot Luck to Dedicated drops is the most head-scratchingly stupid thing. Also having some items that are just world drop/chaos chamber drop only is dumb. So much empty map. Add some respawning Named enemies and spread the loot pools.

First playthrough go vanilla. Beat the story, experience SOME chaos chamber. But as soon as you feel boredom inch in... just run Redux.

Nope, it's elemental damage added and movement speed, unless you get the correct roll for gun damage at the bottom

The buffmeister never give gun damage. The closest you can get is pew and that buffs every thing except gun damage

I always put the on spell cast 30% gun damage enchantment on my Buffmeister and 15% gun damage on on my most used gun so when I pop my spell I get a decent bump in gun damage.

Have to use them. They disappear if you have any and leave the chamber.

Ok, let's try something: Go farm a Marshmellow spell. Oh? Only from the Chaos Chamber? Ok, now farm the Amulet you need for your build. Now farm the RINGS you need for your build. The problem is that you are basically FORCED to run a 12 to 25 minute Chaos Chamber to have a CHANCE at the item you need for your build. What we want is TARGETED FARMING. Think Savage Lee in BL2. You know where he is and what he drops and he has a FIXED DROP CHANCE for that item. Wonderlands has SOME dedicated farming, BUT they attached LOOT LUCK to that drop chance, so you generally need to have already beaten the game and done 20 Chaos Chambers to have a SIX PERCENT chance at the Swordsplosion from LeChance. That's just stupid and it BACKWARDS of what any of us want.

No, what I want is to refine my build. If I hit max level and want a Marshmellow spell I don't want to run Chaos Chamber 10 times to get one. I want to farm a DEDICATED DROP SOURCE that has that Spell. This isn't Diablo. This is an offshoot of Borderlands. If you can't farm for gear without sitting in Chaos Chamber 24-7 then there's a problem
