SONG FACTS - SINCE I’VE BEEN LOVING YOU
-One of the most challenging songs to record for the LZ III album. They often felt the emotions of the song while performing it.
-Recorded live in the studio with very little overdubbing. If you listen carefully in the beginning, you can hear the squeak of John Bonham’s drum pedal.
-In the studio, Jimmy Page improvised the guitar solo in one take. The engineer called it “the best rock guitar solo of all time”.
-The riff in the beginning was taken from “New York City Blues” by the Yardbirds. Jimmy Page was not yet a member of that band when it was written.
-The opening and closing lyrics of the song are nearly identical to the 1968 Moby Grap song “Never”.
LED ZEPPELIN FACTS
Formed in London, England in 1968. Originally named the New Yardbirds
Vocals: Robert Plant
Guitar: Jimmy Page
Drums: John Bonham
Bass & Keyboards: John Paul Jones
-One of the best selling artists of all time, selling an estimated 200-300 million records.
-They debuted with their first album “Led Zeppelin” in 1969 and made 7 more studio albums over 10 years until the death of drummer John Bonham.
-Known to be one of the pioneers of hard rock/heavy metal.
===============
I know, this is a bit different coming from me! Apologies to my gaming friends but as you know a big part of my channel is music… and lately I have been HOOKED on watching reaction videos of people listening to music for the first time… music that I have loved for years. It’s amazing to watch people of ALL ages, backgrounds, etc. affected by it as I still am to this day.
REACTORS: This video is to celebrate the amazing content that you bring to the world. Thank you for what you do! Most importantly, thank you for opening your mind. Perhaps the single most important step to bridging the gaps between us all is keeping your mind open and free of any preconceived notions. Music is the perfect tool to do that. It’s been amazing to watch all of you allow this music into your world and feel it running through your veins.
I plan on making more of these periodically, but for whatever reason, you prefer I do NOT use your content, please reach out to me and let me know.

Talk about a generational gap in mentality! The millennial guy thinks 7 to 11 is 4 hours while old heads know that's a 16 hour day homie. As a nurse I have pulled a couple 16's in my day and yeah, they do make life a drag.

@@WonderMommaOG lol... It sure is if you're Robert Plant trying to get some attention. I think actually it comes from the business hours in England and Europe back in the day. They were one of several dozen British or European groups to ELECTRIFY CLASSIC BLACK BLUES, which had emigrated "across the pond" because Americans just didn't want to hear "downer" songs. Sure, Black blues had its time in the sun, but it was shamefully brief in the States. The Brits and Euro blues rockers kept the blues message the same AND reached down into the guts of the blues and showed new audiences what was what. Gave American youngsters of the mid- to late 1960s and onward a whole new window through which life needed to be observed, maybe pulled the youngsters into a reality of struggle, pain, and (sometimes) redemption.

The amazing thing is that this song came out 52 years go. I was in the US Army, stationed in Panama. In the evenings, my friend and I would take my MG, his cassette deck, and our friend, Panama Red, and park by the canal in the steaming jungle and listen to LZ. The tallest building in Panama City at the time was five stories, and there was only one building over three stories. It was an outpost at the edge of civilization. Now the city is full of 50-storey sky scrapers. Things have changed.

I'm glad you all took the time to enjoy and appreciate to me the greatest rock band of all time "Led Zeppelin, I heard my first song by Zeppelin in early 1970 and I was so blown away!,I just wanted more but early fm radio only squeezed ou a few Zeppelin songs that first year and I was so impressed I was 12 years old and I saved some money and got Zeppelin 1 then 2 then Zeppelin 4 with "Stairway to Heaven "did you know they made the first 4 albums in 2 years and every song could have been a hit !!!amazing albums start to finish don't forget House's of the holy and Physical graffiti which is a double album and heavy rock but some beauties in that Album, thanks I love seeing young peoples reactions!by the way Jimmy page (guitarist )recorded and produced all their albums and he played and trained in the recording studios since he was 14 and played with the "Yardbirds Aloha

We Cuban/Americans use a term/word called "asco". The true definition means disgust , however we also use it to describe something so unbelievably masterful , that is almost impossible to comprehend how it was accomplished. This song is an Asco.

This compilation was GREAT!!!! I have seen a few of the individual reactions but it was great to hear the whole song with only one break and the variety of reactions. I grew up with Led Zeppelin's music as the background to my youth and it makes me so proud they can still knock multiple generations of people on their butts decades later.

I was 15 when this record came out. And I am still listening to it. Took years to realized the bass player was playing keyboards and the bass with his feet. This was so when they played it live, it sounded the same as the studio. And this is their first record. But, there was no rock like this before this record. All else afterwards were just copying LZ. Jimmy wrote all the hooks.

That's how it sounds when you've got the ability to translate your whole being and experiences through the guitar. Only a true master can do that. It's very rare for anyone to be able speak with their guitar so personally . Luckily for the world it was caught on tape forever. Rarely in this world does everything in the Universe so these 4 young men to meet and set the world on fire when they were still only kids in their early 20's.

Imagine growing up with Zep. it was ALLLLLLLL we listened to. 24x7 every day for years. we knew every note of every song. and now life is forever a measurement of shortcomings. the search for anything even close.

to this day, i still can’t say which album is my favourite. each time i said this is the best song ever, until i’ve heard another of their song and another and another! what amazing about this band is that they all can pull some notes at the unexpected. right down to the lead singer, robert plant. the notes that came out of his mouth from high to low are just phenomenal, it was as if they’re having conversations among themselves throughout the songs.
