Just a tip for anyone intending on a visit. Forget overcrowded overrated Bondi beach, so many more with long sandy beaches along Sydney's coastline. Forget the over hyped tourist traps you are told to visit. If you can hire a car and take the unknown road to the unknown coastal or country town where people will see you as a friend and not a walking dollar sign. That's where the true Australia still is.
@Ozvideo19592 ай бұрын
Good advice. For example, if you are visiting Melbourne, don't just do the Great Ocean Road because everybody else does. Instead of driving west out of Melbourne, maybe look at driving east instead. The Gipsland Lakes and Wilson's Promontory are way underrated. For example, you can go to Raymond Island within the Gipsland Lakes district and see kangaroos and koalas just wandering the streets. So many tourists visit here and yet most of them never really get beyond the well-worn path. Just within Victoria, there are places like Ballarat, Bendigo, the Yarra Valley, and the Mornington Peninsula that many visitors don't even know about.

@@Ozvideo1959 Go the coast way to Melbourne from Sydney or Melbourne to Sydney. Through Lakes Entrance and Mallacoota up to Eden Pambula Ulladulla then left after the bridge at Nowra through Bomaderry Gerroa Kiama then through to Sydney.
@Ozvideo19592 ай бұрын
@@FromTheGong I've visited Malacoota several times, many years ago, on fishing trips. I've also visited Meribula for a short stay. I haven't had the opportunity to travel any further up the NSW south coast any further than that. I used to fish Paynesville, Johnsonsonville, and Mallacoota pretty regularly back in the day. If you see most vlogs about visiting Australia, everybody does the same things. For example: Melbourne Visit Fed Square, Hoosiers Lane, State Library, Nation Gallery of Victoria, Brighton Beach, Great Ocean Road. Oh, and don't forget to get your croissants at Lune and your doughnuts at Victoria Market. The really adventurous vloggers might do the Puffing Billy, or maybe a trip to Yarra Valley. But the reality is they all do pretty much the same things, y'know, the Instagrammable things.

Great effort with passion. Never seen such a quality video with details to this extend. Enjoyed a lot. Our planet earth is purely magic. Do you know the cliff and cove in South Australia where the 1200 km Heysen trail starts were under the glaciers millions of years ago.

Thank you for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the video and found it informative. You're absolutely right - our planet is truly magical, with so many breathtaking places to explore. That's a fascinating fact about the Heysen Trail's starting point! The geological history of Australia is indeed incredible. The landscape we see today in South Australia, including the cliffs and coves, has been shaped by various forces over millions of years, including glacial activity during ice ages. It's amazing to think about how these beautiful coastal features were once buried under ice. This geological heritage adds another layer of wonder to the already stunning 1200 km Heysen Trail. Thank you for sharing this interesting piece of information. It's a great reminder of how our planet's history is written in the landscapes we admire today.

Apologies, there was an error in placing the ping. In the narration, we correctly stated that Fraser Island is off the coast of Queensland.

Some truly fantastic cinematography work but unfortunately spoiled by the many incorrectly pronounced names but I suppose you get that with AI. Also you might want to correct your pin for Frazer Island, only 2500 miles out.

A great video but several mistakes with the footage. For example when you talk about the Central Market in Adelaide it showed footage of Adelaide Arcade, not the same thing at all. Shame you couldn't find actual footage of the market. Also, when Lake Eyre is mentioned the lake on the footage is not of the lake at all .... I'm not sure where it was but I know what Lake Eyre looks like and it was not that haha...

While Uluru (Ayers Rock) is a sacred site to the Anangu people, and they have requested that visitors not climb it or take photographs of certain sacred areas, there is no blanket ban on showing the mountain in media. The Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park has specific guidelines about commercial filming and photography, but respectful depictions are generally allowed.
