Poland was my husband's native land. He was born in Warsaw but had family all around the country. During our long and very happy life together, we visited this beautiful country every two years, usually at the Christmas season. Because of him, I learned the beautiful (but not easy) Polish language, to enjoy better and completely this beautiful land and its unique people. They were unforgetable time. Now, even though my husband recently passed away, I promised him I'd keep our tradition. Somehow, I hope it will help me to bear life without him.

I rarely reply to comments, but I want to thank you for the kind words. Being Polish is complicated...event for us sometimes. You mentioned tradition...in a globalized world it seems that some "elites" perceive that something not worth pursuing. Yet it is precisely the tradition that kept Poland alive for last 1060 years. Even during times when we were erased from the map.

Auschwitz-Birkennau = Made in Germany. It was a death camp built first for Poles. When Reinhard Heydrich, Göring's collaborator, created the plan for the "Final Solution", the camp became a place of extermination, mainly of Jews. For the Germans, it was ideally suited for this criminal plan: it was located in occupied Poland in the center of Europe, any Pole who helped Jews faced the death penalty, and unfortunately the Germans carried out such punishments. Couriers who passed on information about German crimes to the world were met with indifference. As a Pole, I have a duty to speak the truth wherever understatement turns into a lie.

To ‘“Schlagetten 88 . Those all cities you are talking about were always Polish cities. Germany stole them from Poland during l and ll war and much earlier when Poland didn’t even exist on the map for 123 years. During that time Germany took western part of Poland, Austria South part of Poland and Russia Eastern part of Poland . Please better learn some real history. In Germany real history never exists. Was always hidden or erased and kids in German’s school never learned about wars caused by German. Poland always since 12 centuries had the worst neighbors from both sides left and right. Your opinion is very wrong so please study the real historical facts because looks like you don’t have any knowledge regarding this matter. Thank you. ☕️

"Polish sahara" hahahaha this gave me a chuckle, as someone who is Polish and has spent time in the Sahara. Błędów is literally just a bigger sandpit, whilst Sahara... well, I suppose you have to live it to believe it.

Love this video and Thank you so much . Very informative especially for those people who never had seen this beautiful country yet . Love Kazimierz Dolny . I was born in that city and grew up there. Have a lot of great memories and friends. I love the churches there especially Fara because I had my wedding there 48 years ago. Hope everyone visiting this place enjoy and will be happy to be there . I also invite to beautiful Basilica in Lichen. This amazing place it’s so great for adoration, prayers and just being so close to God . Thanks again and God bless everyone. 🤗❤️😇🙏🌹 those who never seen this beautiful country yet .
