Slovakia sounds like a true gem with so much to offer! From the stunning High Tatras with their rugged peaks to the charming medieval towns filled with history, it feels like every corner of the country has something unique to explore. I had no idea that Bratislava borders both Austria and Hungary or that it holds the record for the shortest international flight. It’s amazing to think of the stories that places like Trenčín Castle and Banská Štiavnica could tell. Slovakia definitely seems like a destination worth diving into! Morskie Oko lake lies in Poland, not Slovakia. You should say that Budapest is a Slovakian town, would be same true 😂

Maybe lies currently in Poland, but historically has and had nothing to do with Poland. The Rybie Pleso (currently Morskie Oko) together with Dolina piatich veľkých plies (currently Polskich Stawów) were stolen from Kingdom of Hungary from a land where only Slovaks were living for centuries. This is not something Poland should be proud for.
