I’ve lived in this state from 1976. About 30 years on the west side in small towns from Bothell north of Seattle, down to Centralia south of Olympia, and now in the Spokane area. I think you did an excellent Jones of covering the states high lights and beauty. What was missed was not enough to even mention, especially for an informative video highlighting this gorgeous state. So to the person who thought you did a horrible job, I think they must be confused about the purpose of videos like this is, or maybe they are confused thinking you were talking about Washington DC. You did an excellent job. There are some mispronunciations, but the informative dialogue, remarkable arial views and hour plus coverage that was done was by far more than most videos ever give. End of Ausgust through October. Middle of September is still warm depending on where you're coming from and you'll get to see the fall colors. I wouldn't recommend spending alot of time in Seattle and spend more time in the surrounding cities that are more than 45 min away from Seattle to get the most of your visit
@bubbalo33882 ай бұрын
June is comfortable weather, but July and August are usually the safer bet if you want sun. The weather is around 80's to 90's. September it gets a mixture of comfortable and cool. If you visit Seattle, you should plan a trip up to Vancouver B.C. also if you've never been there. It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Seattle.

For those that want to visit lakes: Keep in mind lakes in Central and Eastern Washington are cold even though the sun is scorching hot. Lakes in the forest part (right before entering the desert mountains and flat lands) are more cool during the summertime. Think Lake Kachess and Lavendar Lake (small lake very pretty view). Lakes in Western Washington are cool but warm during the summertime. Lakes I would avoid: Soap Lake because it has a lot of bugs buzzing around right by the shore. Great pool though and everything else is good, just the lake itself has bugs that bite you. Lake Meridian has a great big park, but you are swimming right next to people’s pets and ducks. Banks Lake, Lake Roosevelt, and Lake Chelan on a scorching summer day are very cold.

Great waterskiing & camping on Banks Lake & Chelan. I highly recommend a quick dip in Soap Lake if you have any ailments or body aches. You're also much more bouyant on Soap Lake. For sheer beauty, a visit to Lake Crescent (near Port Angeles, Olympic Nt'l Park) is a must see.
@joemamais64474 күн бұрын
I love going to Banks Lake, camped there a few times as a kid. Recently been there to see the fireworks on the 4th, no light pollution, very beautiful. The water in Chelan and Banks lake is freezing, but I do love it! Chelan also has a great water park which I visit every year. I’ve been to Soap Lake a few times, very warm water. However, last time I went there I got bitten by a million bugs, however the view and campsites are beautiful. Never been to Crescent, but it sounds nice.
