Sooraj santosh originally sang it for the telugu movie "Village lo Vinayakudu." The music in that had a beautiful touch of Veena. Here too the guitar music surprisingly complimented the carnatic flavour of the song quite well. It is a traditional telugu keerthana by the great Annamacharya born more than 600 years ago.
