Well check his channel and see his workout vlogs. Twice a day around 3-4 hours for almost 2 decades he was checked by professional bodybuilders and they said his body is 100% clean meaning he didn’t use any enhancement of any kind all natural and took its time that’s why his body is one of a kind and built differently . He was into taekwondo for 10 yrs and got a sever enjury that’s why he switched to K-pop so he was athletic even before.

OMG Thank you for explaining better than I would have; like it seriously annoys me when people who have no idea about him assume that he does over the counter enhancements or steroids etc out of jealousy because him getting that big naturally. You are right, he had been very athletic even before being a trainee and joining Monsta X but he didn’t really start seriously working out that again until around Monsta X third comeback though and since then he has been literally living for the gym on strict diet.
