I don't understand the "WA2 has blacker background than the Crack"... my Crack is perfectly silent, unless I use noisy tubes. Where does the blacker than black background come from or am I misunderstanding the term? Great review, appreciated. Lovely to see all those Sennheisers! Get an HD-600 Marcelo. :)

@TheLastRhino, my BHC is pretty quiet, too; however, it isn't as quiet as the WA2, and the BHC is more susceptible to interference from wireless devices. The sound stage of the BHC is also not as refined in between notes and instruments, especially noticeable in quiet passages. The BHC is great I love it, but the WA2 is a step ahead, IMO, and it's also more expensive, so we should expect this. Thanks as always for your support, brother!

Excellent review, well explained and detailed. There is no much difference with Bottlehead Crack. WA2 Its better but price difference doesn't justify it. You must have a golden ears to really appreciated the difference.

I tried original Focal Clear with my WA2, multiple different tubes and yea the bass is a mess unfortunately. Especially because the Clear is clipping with higher volume of bass :( So for Focals something like Feliks Elise/Euphoria are amazing.

Yeah, the WA2 is best for high-impedance headphones. Woo has other amps that are good for lower-impedance headphones too.

Any thoughts on a ZMF VC pairing? Considering versus A/S mogwai or a Cayin HA-3A. Or possibly the Decaware /ZMF otl collaboration.
