Looks very beautiful! But is it comfy with only one lumbar as backrest?

Thanks. I had the same doubts about the comfort when I first saw it, long time ago with straight lumbars. But it is much better than you would expect. That is why I wanted to restore it.

@@OutdoorsintheLowCountries I was wondering about this question as well. Perhaps for a taller person (noticing you are taller) this would be ok. If a smaller/shorter person (child, for example) were to lean back, it might not be comfortable or give the support where needed. This is still a beautiful looking bench. Well done.

@@jifi-0178 Because of the strong S-shape of the bottom lumbars and especially the relatively upwards directed last lumbar at the backside the seating section is quite comfortable and already providing support at the lower back. Perhaps that is also why this bench is designed with a relatively small backrest, since only a little support is required to have a comfortable position. In that respect quite different from a straight angled design. For very small children the backrest might be too high. But for children a little bit bigger I don't think this will be an issue. But I will pay special attention to it, whenever it occurs. 🙂

Nice workshop and surroundings overthere! You sound Dutch by the way, but the environment doesn't look Dutch to me.
