Hullo Sarah, I thought your flaming match looked wonderful! I have worked extensively on wood panels and wood furniture. It was so important to pre-treat the surface with a primer of some kind you might want to prime after you do your burning as you want me to reseal the wood after you burn it! Now depending on the final destination and use of your painted wood object you might need to use an ASTM certified sealer or varnish if a kid might be chewing on it! In the past I used a product called liquid glass, it’s still available. Thanks again for the wonderful video and I am so glad you’re feeling better and back to creating amazing artworks, thank you! Oh names! I know Kasey Golden used ham and cheese, I would say you picked almond butter and marmalade?

The other day when I opened my jelly gouache Hemi paints they were molded. Well just two but I had to throw those out. I cleaned up around the edges of it with alcohol and since then I've been making sure that it's super dry before I put the top on and also spray it with rubbing alcohol, letting it dry for a couple seconds before then putting in the top on it.

My grandpa would sharpen scissors using a small glass bottle like a fingernail polish bottle. Take your scissors and act like you are trying to cut through the small neck of the glass. Scissor it just a few times trying to run the full length of the blades. It usually helps a little at least.
