Happy to see a wood elf list. Skirmishers do pretty good in my gaming group, and the wood elf ones are very strong!

Rules clarification for when 2 rules happen at the same time but isn't clear on which happens first. Page 14- "Whilst every effort has been made to make sure that the sequencing of rules is utterly clear, occasionally you'll find that two or more rules are to be resolved at the same time - normally 'at the start of the Movement phase' or similar. When this happens, and the wording is not explicit as to which rule is resolved first, then the player whose turn it is chooses the order." You guys may have already seen this but here ya go just incase.

When in doubt, in general WAP favors the current players turn when rules clash.

I love the WAP content, keep it up! This format is great, very watchable and entertaining. It's also fun to see more lists. Cullen's Skaven collection must be huge! I have a possible rule correction concerning the Warp Lightning Cannon. You usually rule that the *bounce* also uses the template but that is incorrect as far as I can see. Nowhere in the rules does it say that the bounce is template size. The initial hit uses the template, but the bounce itself is a straight line. That means that the dragon would not have been hit. It makes a pretty big difference!

Great BR despite being quick and dirty! I like that list personally, I would just tweak it to give the captain a BSB. Maybe a unit of scouts/way watchers instead of the hawks? Treeman seems like a lot of eggs in one basket but does give you a lot of versatility. Otherwise, I just thought you were a bit reckless with the glade riders. Didn't need to vanguard into range of the gatling gun. TBH with wood elve movement don't think you need to vanguard most of the time unless you need to redeploy. As long as you could figure out how to deal with the gatling gun then Warp cannon you deal with most long range threats.

I learned the hard way that you fire your Ratling Gun *last* unless absolutely necessary, because otherwise it *will* missfire and it *will* shoot your entire line, including your other weapon teams and small skirmishing units.

Steve, I feel the same - the most viable WE list I see is almost only bows and stay away from the enemy. Should be really effective but also quite boring. That is, unless your opponent brings Ogres and you can't wound anything

its because steve always makes huge misplays. his 8e HE covered that up with great magic...but WAP nerfed them quire a bit. why would he put his light cav just straight in front of the enemy with vanguard? half an army shooting and magic for 10 squishy riders. Steve is very quick to sacrifice units to distract/shield etc. I just think that sometimes he just sacrifices units for nothing...which makes games often a 1750 vs 2000. still love him though 😊

WE are very, very vunerable to Magic missiles. A dispel scroll or 2nd caster for more dispel dice, to counter nasty winds of Magic or ultimate power rolls might help.

Have a saved search set up for exactly the following: warhammer (bretonnia, empire knights, bretonnian) Make sure you include the brackets and commas. This will now show you every model in that criteria. You'd be surprised how many models are put on as empire knights where they are actually bretonian. Then check it daily at lunch and dinner (most people put buy it nows on between 10 and 6) and make sure to organise by newly listed to catch the deals. You can find core units, trebuchet and most knights at good prices but they aren't as comman as most other armies. Alternatively Bretonia will be part of the old world so will probably see new units being made in a few years time.
