Wood Shed Build & Fun with Ticks

Those ticks can be more than just a nuisance if they're carrying lyme disease. Stay vigilant. I love the wood shed. It's perfect for what I want.

It has worked out perfect. We go through 2/3 of it during fall and winter. I put a new seal on the wood stove door and we burn way less wood and have total control on the temperature inside. Made a huge difference.

Ya we have bought tick repellent clothing from Mark’s and the US. Game changer really. We photograph every tick and upload to E-Tick to have it identified. We seem to have mostly dog ticks Spring and Summer but Deer ticks in the fall. I had on embedded last fall and had get the anti-biotic. Great news is in NS you only have to go to a pharmacy to get it.

Great video, That is exactly what I need to build this spring at my cottage. Would love to know the dimensions if possible? Sad about the ticks, I was thinking the same thing recently, that not long ago we never had to deal with the bastards. Regards Mark

The shed is 36in x 72. I think it’s the perfect size for us. We are there a lot during Winter and Fall and burn 2/3 -3/4 of it so there’s just enough for year for us. And we are there a lot. I do fill it to the rafters. Ya ticks are a pain. We invested in Anti-tick clothing impregnated with permethrin. Game changer.
