I would request the engine turned off first before stepping close to these blades 😁

that screen seems most ingenious to me. it looks like its designed so that each layer is raised on one another to create a new anvil at each level. or am i wrong in thinking that's the purpose of the design>?

@@verteup its not just spares. if you add all the knifes thats possible you cut shorter-smaller chips but use more fuel on same logs

Warum ?????

Ok perhaps I'm naive and ignorant but for the obvious cost of this machine not even factoring in the cost of repair and down time I think it's absolutely redictculess there isn't a metal detector to detect and stop this very thing from happening. I would think it's a given that you're going to encounter metal bars, brackets, spikes and God knows what else when shredding this type of mixed material. To not have some form of metal detection that will automatically stop the machines feed mechanism and alert the operator so that the shredder can be stopped and the feeder reversed so the operator can then wand the material to find the metal is stupid. Theres no reason you can either create a non ferrous passage, or utilize xrays, or other options where any metal will stop the feed and alert the operator. Hell, the first couple times it alarms it will have paid for its self. Oh an you might want to consider editing out the idiot with the cigarette dangling from his mouth yelling "Rebar!" Great company image, probably the founder!

there will be a reason. those blades are only a fiver and takes about 30mins to do whats hes just done. i have a very similar Jenz machine myself. on a forage harvester the area before the knifes is stainless steel. i wouldn't want my machine stopping for a nail if it did it would be creating exactly what you are trying outline above. just a thought

Scott you are right, you are naive and ignorant
@henrikaki58834 жыл бұрын
Steel is really not that big of an issue. I mean most of the time you hit rocks or any kind of unclean wood, which the metal detector cant get anyway.
@Jimo2253 жыл бұрын
i been saying the same thing for years. These guys will spend a half mil on a machine but wont' spend an extra 20,000 for some sort of metal prevention.
