But next week will not be segments. I have my multi-axis turning done...YEE HA! When using segments one big advantage is you have a lot less material to turn away. The cost of some of the hardwood makes it a real savings to do it like this. Thanks for watching and commenting. Gary

What a lovely bowl! Your video is such an immediately understood example of the uses of basic math and geometry. I hope kids see this and go, AHA! That's what it's good for! I mean, math makes up everything we touch--as does design, for that matter. This is just a lovely reason to use it. (This from a vintage mechanical engineer. ;))
