Mike, you should consider purchasing a pair of short Bahco Log Tongs. They will save your back from all of that bending. I’m 6’6”. I can spend a whole day cutting/splitting wood, and may bend over all the way 5-10 times to pick something up. I even use them to pick up smaller pieces. It makes a huge difference for me at the end of the day.

Hi Mike!!😀😀 You could use one of your small log splitters as a power unit for your convayer. Just divert the oil from the cylinder to the conveyor. Take care my friend!!😀😀💚 Logger Al

Hi Mike. The yard is shaping up. Your wood bins look good using your new conveyor. It will be way better once you have time to get a motor drive on your conveyor. Way more efficient than your tractor. Keep working on the yard , and things will come together. How are the bundle sales going for you? Take care Mr Mike and stop in to our channel some time. I would love to do a sticker swap too.

It looks to me like the splitter is a little to close to the conveyor. If the pump on the splitter is large enough I would run the conveyor off of it.

Mike is there a way to make the wolfe Ridge run the conveyor it all ready has hyd you are getting set up better and better keep them videos coming 👍👍🇺🇲
@DanielAtkinsFirewood6 ай бұрын
He could disable the log lift and run that as a source. Assuming the pump can handle it.

I like the motor/pump/oil tank concept. Be nice if it was compact and easy enough to move by hand. Not mounted to conveyor.

Was thinking that if we kept it by the wheels it should stay balanced. We will see.

Is there a way you can put something flat from kickstand to kickstand so the wood can’t fall off?
@nebraskawoodstr6 ай бұрын
Not a bad idea. Kickstand back to to the front might help it stay in.
