Woodbridge is a port town and civil parish in East Suffolk. It is 8 miles up the River Deben from the sea. The town is close to some major archaeological sites of the Anglo-Saxon period, including the Sutton Hoo burial ship.
Aldeburgh is a coastal town in the county of Suffolk, north of the River Alde. It was home to the composer Benjamin Britten and remains the centre of the international Aldeburgh Festival of arts at the nearby Snape Maltings , which was founded by Britten in 1948
