While a metal lathe is the only tool that can make the parts to make itself, I love how your router makes the box to contain itself 🙂

This is really the easiest way to finger joint, compared to the more complicated setup when using a jig. The only snag I've found is to make sure the number of "fingers" is even or odd. If it is odd, the other side of the boards must start in reverse.
