A lot of people like the portability of a tiny home... An 8 foot wide one that you can tow easily. I think something like that building would make a great compliment to a totally self-sufficient tiny home. You have a tiny home with a full kitchen, full bathroom, sleep Loft, and a small seating area... very well-built and well-insulated... like you would not NEED an extra room. So all the complicated stuff is in the tiny home with no moving parts that can break. Slides are always a problem. But if you could carry an extra collapsible room on the roof and set it, maybe, at the back of your tiny house, maybe with a little wood or gas stove. Because you don't need to wire a building today. People have rechargeable laptops and LED ceiling lights that last for hours. That would convert your tiny house into a very comfortable home and you would not have to heat the axillary room all the time in the winter... it would not have to be super well insulated if it's not used all the time.

There are collapsible rooms that do not need a crane. I've seen them. People turn a Crank to set them up. Very cool.

Required a crain to assemble

Why is it; people with the best ideas seem to have the coolest music! Question; how do you assemble the house if you do not have a crane handy!

Wonderful concept now design one that doesn't require any kind of heavy machinery

Best idea so far, buy a compact folding house for space then buy a crane what takes up half the street everytime u want use it 😕 might aswell just flat pack the 4 sides and throw a tarp roof over save urself 250,000 on a crane 😂

Multipurpose. Potable. House/shed/business/outdoor kitchen. Also not taxable in most area if it is only up for 9 months out of the year.

If you look to the right, there is a video; China Magic Folding Container House --4 minutes one house! But, they also have not figured out how to raise it without a crane!

Killa idea but not every 1 hss a crane in there back pocket . Try hydrolics and if it works share the goods with me
@jshilohshea3817 жыл бұрын
ok but a crane ? you don't find those around camping grounds you would have to park under a tree that has thick limbs and use block and tackle gear to raise the roof

Does the crane come included in the price? What about the crane operator? BTW, the building in the demo was empty, what do we do with our belongings that we would need to have with us in the event of a bug out. Of course we would need some sort of vehicle to tow it with and some sort of trailer might help as well. I guess a fifth wheel or RV (both with toilets and kitchens) wouldn't be as cool as this folding piece of wood that has no belongings inside. Being cool comes first, yyeeaahhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a shed, not a house. A house has plumbing, insulation, electricity.

yeah but you need to rent a freaking crane to set that up, that costs A LOT OF MONEY, you should have design this so simple human beings could set up without hydraulics,I know it is possible because I design one that work like I'm explaining, so yeah
@richarddoaks38809 жыл бұрын
+Javier Bustamante Yep, something like Habitaflex makes a lot more sense. Can be mounted on a trailer, then opened up using just a hand-crank (a power drill makes it faster) and a "key" to lock the parts in place. End up with a 700-950 sq ft floor space.

It's awesome but not built with the average buyer in mind not everyone can just spend money on a crane. Take it back to the drawing board and fix the problems

FAIL ! The average Joe can't afford to have it moved let alone afford to hire a crane service. SPOCK says "illogical"
