What is shimming and how to use it to fill gaps between floorboards

This video will what explain floor shimming is and how you can do it. Do you have an old floor with gaps between the floor boards, this is caused by the floorboards shrinking as they dry out over many years. Shimming is the practice of inserting triangular strips made from the same wood as the original boards and glueing them in place, then you sand and seal the entire floor . Shimming gives you an beautiful, even wood floor without all the drafts.
