Woodford Reserve regular I had once neat... Oak Wood notes. Almost hint of cardboard if too warm. Over priced. Wild Turkey 101 whoops Woodford Reserve's arse.

I’ve only tried one - the 121.2 proof from earlier this year, same as yall, and holy shit, it’s great. I found it in Idaho on a shelf and grabbed it on impulse. But I love it. I know a ton of people hate the price, hate the bottle, hate the size, have other bourbons they prefer for less money. But i had to try it once and I’m glad it was this batch. It’s great.

Would love for you to try the 2021 and 2022 batches because they blow this year's batch out of the water! The whiskey this year isn't bad, it just doesn't compare to '21 and '22. We have super high expectations for these bottles as it's one of the very few limited "special" releases from WR, and it's been so good historically!

These are sitting on shelves at Total Wine in Louisville for $130. My bottle has opened up a bit and is better than it was at first crack. Won’t buy a second one though. It doesn’t set itself apart from KC9 SiB or OF1920. Had a pour of the 123.6 (2020 release) batch proof at a bar recently and it blows this year’s out of the water. That one was almost like if Woodford released its double oaked at cask strength.

The 2020 and 2021 both kill the 2024. We had a sip off camera of the 2020 after this video and we couldn’t believe how much better it was than the 2 most recent releases. Like you said, this year’s release doesn’t even really separate itself from some standard shelf bottles.
