Woodland dinner and chill out, through the lockdown

sorry about the quality of the vid, my computer was playing up so had to use a app,
before anyone says anything about been out, this is 10 min from my house and i walked in, part of my daily exercise, but i just needed to chill in the woods for a hour, and how much better i felt for doing so, mental exercise is a must aswell, stay safe out there people, ;)

Came across your channel after binge-watching The Fell Wanderer during the lockdown. I really enjoyed your videos especially with everything being the way it is at the moment. Some great videos showing lots of camping and bushcraft skills and tips all done with a laugh and a smile. Hello John...hope you and the family are well mate. That is absolutely disgusting the way the kids have used those woods. As you say they need educating in schools but to be honest I've noticed it seems to be older school leavers doing it as well. Anyway, today was my first venture out into the woods for two months and it felt great. I put the hammock chair up and put a brew on and did a bit herb collecting then just sat there listening to the birds.....absolute bliss lol. Nice knife by the way..........since the lockdown I've been off work for a while so decided to give knife making a go....never started yet but been buying the tools and getting ready to have a go. Cracking video mate. Stay safe mate and hopefully soon we will be allowed out to camp. Atb mate

hi pal, yeh all good here, sick now like , need a camp, ;) yeh kids have destroyed that woodland and they have been so lucky the whole wood didnt go up, i recon ya right its the 15, 16, 17 year old, the ones who carnt get in the bars yet, doing this, but if they were educated , all the way through school, maybe this might not happen, should start in infants, and carry on through the whole schooling, so sad because thats a cracking woodland, anyway, thanks for watching pal, u stay safe and hopefully we will be out soon, ;)

Very upsetting to see the woodland damaged like this. Also some of the youngsters responsible may come from broken homes have no roll model to follow and simply don't or understand the impact they are having on the environment. As they grow up I bet some if not most of them will realise their mistakes. The problem is as you say, normal wildcamper will be blamed and it will just make it harder for everyone. The solution has to be educating them. Kids will be kids though. Your being a good roll model here John. Get some of the local youths to watch this video and they might begin to understand!

Thanks John. Yes it was a blow losing my dear little Elsa. She was so loyal , followed me everywhere. I held her when she died and brought her back and buried her in the best spot I could find in my garden. Dear little dog she was. My Mandy is mending well John. She had a massive op.

either do I john i used to build dens play brittish and jerrys my first camp was on a hill looking down on my mum and dads house in a village called moniaive Scotland open fire cooking sausage about 11 12 yrs old on my own need i say if you where to do that now child social work would informed to be fare my moms dad house were about a 100 metres away that was in the 70s but some times i do see it in my own town some one comes out a shop throughs a rapper on the ground and walks off go down by the river you see it every where there is a generation cap but also the fuckers flinging crap out of there cars stay safe john after this viris will meet up bring my bin liners
