I enjoy the sawmill videos. I have been looking at a sawmill for little while now. It just seems like it would be a great way to produce lumber for projects to live edge furniture. It is a little costly for the initial start up but as you said it will starting paying for itself as you move along. Thanks for the review video and honest opinions.

Brock, your sawmill videos, as well as videos with pond, and most specially with your father - are my most favorite. Offer folks who land old trees service to get them life edge slabs back.

Great video Brock. You always tell the truth about equipment and how you use it and how it has worked for you. Can't ask for more than that. Take care.

Howdy Brock! If we ever end up with wooded property like I'm hoping to, having my own sawmill would be awesome. Your videos help a lot with that. Well done and thanks for sharing 🤠

I bought an HM130MAX a couple of years ago. It would take an hour to type out all the problems and design issues I've had and still have with it. Their customer service is great, but I wouldn't recommend this machine to anyone I like. It is the best of the cheap mills, though. I bought their 8" chipper and absolutely love it.

Hi, I was also thinking of buying this model. If you were to buy it now, knowing what you know now, what other options would you consider?

Hi Brock. I noticed your log stop holders have adjustment bolts. I presume this is to ensure the log stops are square to the log bunks. I have a 130 Max but I do not have these. Is this a DIY mod or do the newer models have this feature? On the inside, do the log stops lean against a surface or simply the end of the bolts?
@RockhillfarmYTАй бұрын
They came that way. I did not modify it. You can use those bolts to square up the log stops. I generally don’t. I just let the log stops set in the holder.

Did you choose Woodland because they were willing to cut you a deal?
@RockhillfarmYTАй бұрын
I did a series of videos comparing the different brands and chose Woodland Mills. I’m sure I could’ve gotten a discount from another brand. Sponsorship leads to favoritism, which is why I disclose my sponsorship. I am probably biased, which is why I’m telling you about it.
