Why did you go with this stump grinder and not the Baumalight Stump Blaster?

Can't recall the size off the top of my head, but it came from Agristore USA. Link below. www.agristoreusa.com/

Think it would work on a category 2 if I bought the lower link sleeves and top link sleeve?

Nice review. I am fixin to buy this stump grinder for my 33hp Kubota. I already have the Woodland Mills WC68 chipper and it works great.

Do you feel like you have enough PTO to run these 2 attachments with your 33hp Kubota?
@philipirwin52862 жыл бұрын
@@TyKash3 yes. I could always do with more hp. No replacement for displacement. But, I get everything I need done between my stump grinder, wood chipper, 5’ tiller, mowers, etc. wouldn’t want any less for sure. People that settle because of emissions just don’t know any better.

How have you handled grinding with the tractor on uneven ground, and the height fluctuations during operation

Is there a better attack side, do you want the down cutting rotation or up cutting rotation to go after the stump, or does it matter? Thank for the great vid!

It is designed to be better to work from the rt side as you sit in the seat

After seeing your video and one of TTWT with a Baumalight version, I'm shocked they (Woodland Mills) don't make a swing style. I'd go with a swing style (like the 3p24 Baumalight) since it has a gearbox and no stiff neck the next day.

Nice video, I've got a 3038E and I'm guessing I shouldn't have any problems running this grinder on it. I was wondering how it does on a green stump. I have several fresh cut stumps; poplar, white oak, hickory and some of them rather large. A couple of the poplar are over 30" across. Any idea how this would work on these? I guess one of the main things I'd have to deal with would be the fact that it pulls the grinder through the stump and I'd have to cut the stumps down more so the grinder would clear the stump.

How is the visibility to the grinder when grinding the Stump, also when the tractor is on uneven ground I guess the grinder may take too much or lift off the stump, have you run into this or found it to be an issue
@samgarofalo24615 жыл бұрын
Can you grind both forward & reverse, I’m thinking no since the unit would not tip if going too fast.
@turbodog993 жыл бұрын
Forward only. The pivot hinge (which protects the unit and lets it 'float') only works in forward.

Good luck "sharpening" the teeth. You realize that they're carbide, right? Pretty sure they're meant to be replaced, not sharpened.
