Hi Sandy. Calmness, wisdom and love that radiate from your video makes me believe that most important thing in our lives is well spent time with our closest. Hey, the eye is looking much better, Sandy! Glad to see the paralysis fading so you can wink & blink again. What is normal? Sir, you are super-normal. You have overcome & done wonderful things. Example: taming skittish dogs. Look how calm & reliable Carmen is now. After awhile, Ms Zita will relax and grow to trust just like Carmen has. That's your skill & patience, and love. Anyways, glad to see you two. Love & blessings to the whole family, humans & canines. And thank you for sharing what it's like to be in that beautiful English forest.

Hi Bry, The old eye is doing well but I have to remember to force blink now as there still is no natural reflex blink so after a while the eye does become a little sore. I have dentists tomorrow, raging toothache again!!! Glad you like the photo of the beech tree roots and yes a Taste of Autum it is, I reckon another 3 weeks and we'll get some lovely colours

I just returned from a vacation so I am just now catching up with viewing some videos that were put up while I was away from the internet. Always happy to see another one from you. I am glad that the surgery on your eye is now completed and I hope that the healing is quick and the results are completely successful. Just take care and give your body a chance to do its magic with the process. And I can say that Zeta appears to be of the same mold as my little terrier (mix) dog who is a little over 4 years old. She too is a complete handful who seems to be focused on constantly going at least 10 different directions at once and never happy to settle down. She is extremely intelligent, but, has a mind of her own and has no patience for the word no unless it corresponds to what she wants to do. I still love her very much though and am very happy to have her. You have two beautiful dogs there that are going to give you a lot of enjoyment (they might be opposites, but, they are a compliment to each other I think.) I am loving your journey with the woodland photography, you seem to have a knack for finding the right images for your camera to capture. Thank you for sharing your day with us and tell your filming assistant hello for me. Take care my friend and now it's on to your next video.

Every picture tells a story.. Oh what the Great Oaks (10:40) could tell.. they've stood the passage of time.. There's a book/movie and "Treebeard the Tree Herder" and the immortal saying "I've known them from acorn's".. maybe, just maybe you're your Oaks. Good you both had a dry day to be out with the girls.. Staffordshire has been dry then wet within any part of the day, hammering down as I write.. Oct 4 - 11:29pm. Glad all went well with operation, an we'll soon see you fully recovered, good as new. Your plan for Wales, where and when.. just maybe pass somewhere in travels.

Hi Sandy I hope your eye recovers soon. Can I ask you which agency you got your dogs from. I'm look at possibly adopting a rescue dog myself so I'm interested in your experience. Thanks Dave

Hi Dave, I got these two dogs from a local rescue centre in Swindon Wiltshire called SNDogs. They will do a home and garden check to make sure it's suitable then it's down to you to choose a mut. You get a two week trial period then you either adopt the dog or hand it back. For me there is no way I would ever hand a dog back. Once it's here, it's part of the family for the rest of it's life
