I only just found this channel, but I can tell I’m prepping for a binge! Excellent work! But terrible to see the damage from the storms. Here is Texas, hurricanes and tornadoes are frequent visitors, unfortunately.

Thanks Jamie, sorry for the late reply. I hope you've enjoyed a few more videos by now. I think the recent Storm Malik was about as close to a hurricane as I've ever been, it must be terrifying! I lost a good part of my roof so I imagine a tornado or hurricane would have took the lot!

On the path leading north out of the woods to Southfields Farm, there is a MASSIVE oak tree that has come down - directly along the path! I don't walk through these woods with my headphones in any more just in case I hear creaking! A lot of the other paths are blocked now too. Thanks for making these videos!

Thank you for watching. On the paths I walked along over the last couple of weeks, someone has been there with a chainsaw and opened them again although I'm not sure about the path you're referring to.

Great footage. I thought that the woods were cut down deliberately for some reason a few years ago. Seemed a criminal act to me.

I think they were. Is this next to what was the Bank's Pont valley surface mine site ?

Hi John. Beautiful video and music. Such a shame about All the woodland damage. Friends in Yorkshire had damaged Homes as well. I can help out with a £1 towards the woods mate. (lol) Stay safe. Old dave

Hi Dave, Yes, some big chunks of my roof disappeared during storm Malik, scaffolding front and back to get if fixed - expensive! Thanks for the quid, that's just £279,997 to go.

great video john, but it looks like the forestry commission have cut down the trees that were protecting those wind blown trees.

Hi Colin, I think the area is privately owned and is up for sale. I'm putting up £2 and David Sanderson (below) has offered another £1 so just £279,997 to go and it's ours if you fancy chipping in :)

Apart from commercial woods.. the practice of copseing hardly done now 🤔 would save other trees when storms blow.. instead if taking other trees with them too..we walked around grasmere rydal water woods they were doing this or just perhaps felling dodgy trees...ps either contrived or by accident the colours look brilliant...good stuff ..👌👌👌

Hi Carol and Dave, thank you for watching the video and leaving a comment. It's a shame about the copses, they were a little haven for wildlife.
