He never was he just had some favorable matchups. He has always been a explosive wrestler with a big overhand right. Even back to the rory Macdonald or Jake shields fights he had the same issue. If he cant take you down all he has left is the big overhand. And if he doesnt land it he usually loses the round. You never see him just purely outstrike some1 for a round

Tyron was on a downward trend ever since he won the title. His draw vs WB wasn’t great, the rematch was terrible (no one should won that fight), the defense vs Maia was somehow ever worse. The still finish was nice but 6 out of his last 7 fights he’s literally done almost nothing in the cage.

what Usman did was put pressure on woodley and make him tire as much as he could because he never had a lot of cardio so Usman didn't give him room he worked on isometrics and made him look imposing and when his heavy right hand doesn't go in he becomes a passenger of agony, it's sad to see how he was taken away for nothing because in december 2018 he was talking to joe rogan about being the new goat from the is category even thinking about moving up to middleweight, and after that loss everything changed

Usman was actually a “nightmare” for Twood. He was a top welterweight and some still have him in their WW goats but the beat down Kamaru gave him changed him, out wrestled, out struck. The fight shows the level Usman was at and he’s constantly improving to this day. I see him being caught up to eventually like Tyron, it happens to everyone but right now he looks unstoppable.

Coming from a poverty ridden country definitely makes a difference on how you do things...appreciate things. I was born in the usa but my dad came here from the Philippines via the navy in 1955 at age 17...he told and taught us what a privilege it is to be here...so many stories of growing up in the early 40's thru the 50's in the Philippines in poverty and war.....hes now 85 yrs old and has and still does say hes proud to be a citizen of the US.
