I have an lt40hd and I love it as well as Woodmizer. I know the LX250 would be exactly what I expect but I just can’t get beyond the price point. I feel like WM is taking advantage of people because of the strong slab market right now.

in the grand scheme of things i really didn't think the price was all too bad for the LX250... Ours has paid for itself already and some!

Glad to hear it is working well!! I figure if the blade is sharp, it should do fine regardless of size. Thanks for the video.

+Nick Klaich Thanks Nick, it should be a nice addition to the line up we have here and the extra width should make things a little easier for us sometimes for sure 👍🏼

Hey thanks for your video! Hows the tracking on the 250? Im presuming being so wide, does it dive more then normal mills thanks in advance!

Looks nicely built!! Would you know how it performs on smaller logs? 16”-20” diameter??
@KnottHeadCustomSawingFabWorx5 жыл бұрын
It has been working out well for us so far!!! as far as smaller logs go, it should work out just fine on smaller ones but we have not put anything on it under 36" or so, we have other mills we use for the smaller stuff...

Have beautiful big stuff being a arborist ,how do you like the New 250 should I buy one 😁
@KnottHeadCustomSawingFabWorx5 жыл бұрын
+Gray squirrel tree service It’s a pretty decent machine! As for getting one for yourself, it would be hard to say what model is best for an individual, they all have their strong points and we have a few different mills with different intended purpose’s... If you have larger logs this 250 is definately good at slabbing them up! 👍🏼

Is this going to replace the lt15 wide? If so is it up for grabs?
@KnottHeadCustomSawingFabWorx4 жыл бұрын
This did replace the LT15 Wide for us at this time, but we may end up with another LT15W in the future... Only time will tell...

The LX250 is advertised as a "slab mill" does that mean it can't do conventional lumber production?
@KnottHeadCustomSawingFabWorx4 жыл бұрын
I'm sure one could cut some dimensional lumber on it if needed much like an LT15, but we will not be using this mill for that purpose, we have other mills better suited for cutting dimensional 👍
