Please take that poor mower to a level spot and level it--fore and aft and side to side. It's to bad you don't have a quick connect loader. That would be the first thing I'd do is get that out from in front of you. I'd also lower the shoes on the mower so it cuts a little higher.

Your point is noted. I typically have the 3pt link shortened as much as possible so as to give me better clearance. Some of my terrain is fairly uneven and it helps for maneuverability to get that mower as high off the ground as possible. But you do have a good point.

How often do you change or sharpen the knives on your flail? Are you able to buy aftermarket knives for cheaper? I have a Land Pride flail. Replaced the knives cheaper than paying manufacturer price.

These blades are considered paddle blades. They all cut along a flat surface unlike the more typical "Y" style blades. The blades are actually not sharpened and therefore I have never had the reason to sharpen them. You can get sharpened blades for an absolutely perfect looking cut on lawns, but then it isn't all that great for multi-purpose work.

Looks like you may need to extend the 3rd point a bit to keep the side skids from digging grass.
