Woodstock Monument 2019 - Fifty Years Later - Bethel Woods, NY

An aerial journey over what was once Max Yasgur's Dairy Farm in Bethel, NY where 500,000 gathered August 15,16 &17, 1969 for a three day rock and arts festival that defined a generation. Today, the The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is located at the site of the 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Fair in Bethel, New York. Located approximately 90 miles from New York City, the 800-acre site includes a 15,000-seat outdoor concert venue, a 1,000-set outdoor terrace stage, an intimate 440-seat indoor hall, and the Museum at Bethel Woods.

I was there for the 50th Anniversary. I was also there at the original Woodstock Festival. I wrote a book entitled, "We are Woodstock". Read the synopsis on Amazon and if you like it, buy it. It's a nice read with lots of information, but given to you in a novel form. Katherine Boyd on the Classic Vinyl XM station loved it and mentioned it on her show and the Woodstock Museum carries it. Thanks Ed for a little remembrance.

@@vintagepennies6899 Hi, no there isn't a audio version of "We are Woodstock", but someone could read the book to you and you can both enjoy being at the festival. On Amazon or a signed copy on ebay, but make sure it says autographed copy. Other people are selling my book for much more and not signed. Thanks, Glenn
