Interesting that you let Matt answer the question regarding the use of brad nails with glue. Have you seen the videos of Matt's kitchen build? He is using dominos for almost every trim piece.

I've been using UV-cure adhesives and resins for over 20 years. It isn't cutting edge other than to the DIY market. It is important to know what you are doing in relation to the substrates you are adhering together. Dentists have been using UV-cure adhesives for quite some time.

Non-basic drawers. They sell those at Duluth trading right?

I think the dentist used the UV cure resins on my filling for my tooth this morning. I asked if it was Tite bond. HIs helper got it.

Mat I remember you mentioning that in another video.

this is totally an OCD moment but once I noticed the Door is missing on the cabinet behind Matt, that is all I can see in every episode. was it deliberately removed, then why is the hinge still there ?

We actually use the "unit" feet per kilogram at work. I hate it.

Shannon brought up an interesting point about where things are manufactured. I recently purchased a table saw roller guide (thingamabobber?) but after looking at options I went with the HongDui brand as I couldn't justify spending twice as much for the Jessum version. Upon initial online research it appeared that it was the same guide just a rebranding. When I got the HongDui shipment from China I opened it and my suspicions where confirmed. It's not a knock off of the Jessum brand it is pretty much identical which leads me to believe that HongDui is making both the Jessum guide for Jessum as well as their own brand with Jessum marking up their product.

Man that's a bummer that you drew that conclusion. The reality is that Jessem products are designed and manufactured in Canada and cost more as a result. If the Hongdui looks the same, that's because it's a copy.....and China is very good at copying things.

@@woodwhisperer if that's true then it's an outstanding copy. I guess they fooled me! LOL
