Woodturning - A beautiful yew flower bowl with a monkey tree in it.

I have a slice of yew here, but it has been left for too long without being treated. I'm turning out the core here and putting in a piece of a monkey tree in return 😁, I hope you like it and would love to hear from you if you have any ideas or questions of your own. Beautiful. To stop the CA spreading to the wood at the edges of the cracks, try laying a coat of your finish along the edges if it oil, or in and around the crack if it is solvent based . Let it dry. The CA will then be contained in the crack. This does not always work100%, but it sure helps. a coat of shellac around the crack works and it is easily sanded off afterwards if you applya different finish.
