When WORLDS meet to create HARMONY !! Woodturning from elsewhere😳

An incredible woodturning video from another world in which I combine different techniques and materials to create a unique, universal and timeless piece.
In this video, I use a variety of tools, including traditional and carbide-tipped gouges, as well as a texturing gouge.
To create this piece, I used beech and elm wood, as well as epoxy resin.

Morgan, you never fail to impress. That texturing gouge is new to me and I like it. With the charring it gives the piece an almost ceramic look. The resin interior makes it look even more so. Very nice. Joel.

And what different worlds they are! One side made with pure wood turning techniques and the other made with the wonder of resin. The outside looks like hammered copper and the inside shows hints of a patina one might expect with copper, a wonderful contrast with a bit of harmony. Exquisite!

Simply gorgeous and I love it! You’ve convinced me that it’s time to explore using epoxy in my shop. A few questions if you don’t mind. What pressure pot are you using? Also, what camera rig are you using to achieve the angles you are shooting from? They are perfect for other turners to really see what’s happening from the turner’s perspective. Thank you for sharing your turning adventures. I absolutely love being creative and it shows just how satisfying you find it also. Keep up the great work!

John The tool comes with several dials but the effects mainly depend on how you hold your tool.😉👍to make this part I only used one dial
