Woodturning a piece of scrap, back to more scrap?

This started out as a failed Celtic Knot and ended up a failed Celtic knot failed whistle. But I think it looks good. right?

Hmmm, not sure I have ever seen a pencil used that way. The whistle could write its own tunes. 😊

That's good! I might change the video title to that! The pencil is exactly 7mm flat to flat and my drill bit is 7mm so it wasn't hard to make it fit. Thanks for watching Todd!

Looks good. Sorry you couldn’t get it to work. May not have cut enough off the plug. There is a formula to it. You might find it with a YT search.

I was exited about it, but I forgot to reset when I cut a new cut so each time it dropped a half inch or so. It never would have looked ok. I highly respect those that can make a good knot!
