M8 they look wicked. maybe 1 day I'll manage sommit as nice. Can a ask stupid question. You talk about the standard ewt then negative rake scrapers what's the difference??👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thanks mate, the negative rake have a little angle on the very tip so they are less aggressive which makes them perfect for resin turning, you may have seen videos where you see resin that has shattered/exploded when people have turned it…. Well with a negative rake cutter it’s practically impossible for that to happen and believe me I’ve tried to make it shatter…… they are also fantastic for really dense woods also and for segmentation again because they aren’t as aggressive as the standard cutters

@@jpwoodwork a see makes sense so on the dense side sommit likes of a bone dry elm or oak. Al work on stuff with the standard ones to start with then look into the negative rakes once get about it. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍
