Thank you Jim. I do like this tool. It's served me well. Full disclosure, I'm in the process of upgrading my hollowing set up to something a bit more robust/sturdy. Not that this isn't good quality, it is... I'm just really getting into doing these all the time and wanted something that gives me a bit more flexibility in terms of tool options.

@@SoCoJoCoWoodworks what system do you consider an upgrade? I totally get wanting an upgrade, my homemade system is needing the same thing. But, if there is something better/more robust than the Simple, I'm interested!

@@jimg2247 I hate to call it upgrade because it implies that the SWT hollowing system is sub par, which in my opinion, it isn't a bad setup at all. I like to hollow pieces with high/wide shoulders and some depth... you have 2 tool options with that set up and hollowing something more than 9" deep gets a bit rough. I purchased the Trent Bosch stabilizer w/laser and John Jordan's 3/4" hollowing tools. Should have it all set up this week. 👍 Feel free to DM me on IG if you want to talk about the different set ups.
