Hi 👋,Martin, I hope you are keeping safe and well, A another fine piece of art, I have been in my basement yesterday and today for the first in a while, on the wood lathe, I turned A couple of pieces particularly exciting, One of them is still a bit wet so I’m gonna leave it for a month or so before I do any more to it, I fancy turning something a bit big for tomorrow I’ve pulled out a piece of crutch , and started to clean it up and remove some of the bark and it just fell apart is rotten as hell, Not even a lot to burn, . Great territorial look forward to the next one, stay safe, Phil from the dark side of the moulin ,

It's strange you saying, you fancy turning something big a piece of crutch! I started just the same thing a couple of days ago, though mine's not rotten it's a bit on the hard side! Gorgeous piece! Well done. I was hoping from the start that you had a bowl saver system, though. That's a lot of beautiful wood to turn into sawdust. My suggestion would be to sell this piece & either buy, or at least make a down payment, on one. (But maybe that's just the Scotsman in me. Waste not, want not, etc.)
