Woodturning - Made a turntable with a 2" x 8" x 8"

In this video i will make a turntable from a simple plank of 2 x 8 x 8 of khaya wood. Khaya wood come from the family of mahogany and have a beautiful grain. I uses a little synchroneous motor (slow rotation) for the mecanism. I finish it with hampshire sheen high gloss. I know many of you will ask me why i just glued everything, the reason is simple. this my first turntable and i didn't think about the screw of the motor so the wood is too thin for me to screw the motor to the wood so i glued it. And like i said is my first one, i will make a second one way better eventually now that i know what " not to do"

I am not a professional, so the method or technics that i use to work doesn't mean it's the right. Always wear protection while turning for your safety.
