I’m always amazed to see the grain come out when you put the oil on the wood it’s like waving a magic wind across a painting and suddenly all these details appear! You sure picked the right piece of firewood! As always a beautiful piece Darren! Thanks very much for the video!

I added kitchen mats around and under my lathe. Because I often turn fragile wood, the mats cushion the flying bowls. Some of the mats are colorful and show up in some of my videos.
