Beautiful work and choice of woods. Maple and Walnut complement each other perfectly.

Una auténtica belleza con un diseño sencillo y una combinación de maderas realmente bellas y con contraste de colores y vetas. Una creación artesanal muy prolija, con una terminación muy cuidadosa y un sólido sentido práctico. Felicitaciones.

Beautiful work. And I want to say how gratifying it was to see you remove the corners with a bandsaw before putting it on a lathe. So many woodworkers don't bother, and it always bugs me. :)
@CASWoodcraft3 жыл бұрын
definitely the better way to do it, but not everyone has a bandsaw. I didn’t until recently.

@@CASWoodcraft seriously though man. I subscribe to several turning channels, but your's is the one I'm most excited about when I see you've posted a new video. I think because I can "feel"in your videos at you are just a down to earth dude. I hope you stay encouraged to keep posting videos. Your work is beautiful. If you keep posting them, I'll keep liking them. (even with my dislike of the youtubes)

A nice bowl with good form - it would have been good to see how you turned the inside bottom of the bowl- something I’m still trying to do with deep bowls - stay safe
@CASWoodcraft3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, sorry...lost the video of that.

Why not turn the brace layer and hollow it out then glue the next layer on and cut out the center with a parting tool and so on through the layers. Saves time and you have a small circle of wood that would have been shavings
