Been a while since my last visit, enjoyed this clip a lot, great use of scraps and very creative way to deal with the joint gaps. Love the execution of the rolled top edge, harder to do than you made it look. I’ve been using Minwax tung oil finish for years, no brain damage yet but I don’t drink it, leave wet rags, if you use them, on the edge of your waste can to dry, once dry no chance of spontaneous combustion. Thanks for sharing!

Dude! I’ve watched a ton of these turning videos from a bunch of creators, and I have seen some beautiful stuff. This bowl is the first one to have me looking for a way to purchase. Wow, I REALLY like that bowl. Everything about it, from its humble origins to your use of different materials, your choice to roll the lip, and the attention to detail; going the extra mile to bring the void up above the lowest edge of the lip, to the finish where you took the time to saturate it, and then polish, it all speaks of a true passion. Amazing! I love it.

So impressed with what you decided to do with your scrap. The rolled top edge was awesome. I thought it turned out wonderful. I have been noticing your hat. Pretty sure the patch on the back said "Airborne". My brother and brother-in-law were in the 101st together. I personally did 20 years in the Navy. If you did serve, Thanks for your service. God bless. Keep up the awesome work and I will keep watching. Maybe once I can reclaim my garage I can set my shop up and start turning. I'll start out with stills to share for starters. But that will be a little while before that happens.
